L’Egantz opened “on the square” in downtown Rockwall on May 1, 2003 and is owned and operated by Lynn R. Davis.  The shop is instantly recognizable with its large gold pineapple logo on the windows and inviting front bench.  The pineapple logo and ensuing motif represents “welcome and hospitality” which is an attitude that permeates the business from the moment a customer enters the door.  The goal at L’Egantz is to make customers feel at home as they browse through the various areas of the shop.  A friendly staff is available to assist, when required.  Customers are the most important aspect of the business and all feedback is appreciated as well as special requests.  If a customer cannot find an item in stock, the staff at L’Egantz will make an effort to locate and obtain it elsewhere.

 The shop has been designed with “themed” rooms, including one dedicated just to men, to make a customer’s shopping experience easy, interesting and exciting.  In addition to the focus on home décor and wine accessories, a wide array of gift merchandise is available providing something for everyone.  From the lacey Post-It notes packaged in organza bags to leather-clad decanters, L’Egantz offers unique quality gifts at affordable prices.  If unsure, gift certificates are available for the eccentric person on any gift list.  Bridal registry, free gift wrap and layaway are additional features of the shop.

 Besides being offered a variety of merchandise, learning to decorate and accessorize with it is part of the fun.  Interior Decorating and Feng Shui seminars are routinely offered in the “Event Room” along with “trunk shows” conducted by different vendors.  The Calendar of Events page displays upcoming seminar and show schedules.  All seminars and trunk shows are free to customers.
